REVIT ENGINEER
 
Job Summary:
 
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Engineer with extensive experience in Autodesk Revit to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in interior fit-out and be proficient in utilizing Revit for Building Information Modeling (BIM). This role requires a professional who can effectively design, coordinate, and document complex engineering projects while ensuring that all aspects of the project align with industry standards and company goals.
 
Key Responsibilities:
BIM Modeling and Coordination:
Develop and manage detailed 3D BIM models in Autodesk Revit, ensuring accuracy and completeness across all project phases.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate multidisciplinary models, identify potential conflicts, and propose effective solutions.
Coordinate with external consultants and contractors to ensure consistent modeling standards and practices.
Design and Documentation:
Create detailed engineering designs within Revit, including architectural layouts and detailed construction documentation.
Generate accurate construction documents, including plans, sections, elevations, and schedules directly from the Revit model.
Maintain and update project documentation as design changes occur, ensuring all revisions are properly tracked and communicated.
Technical Analysis and Problem-Solving:
Utilize Revit's analytical tools to perform simulations and assessments, such as load calculations, system performance, and constructability reviews.
Identify and resolve technical challenges in design and documentation, leveraging Revit's capabilities to enhance project efficiency and quality.
Quality Control and Standards Compliance:
Ensure that all Revit models and associated documents adhere to company standards, industry regulations, and project-specific requirements.
Conduct regular quality checks on models and documentation to maintain high standards of accuracy and detail.
Project Coordination and Communication:
Communicate effectively with project teams to ensure that all Revit-related tasks are completed on time and to the highest quality.
Lead coordination meetings with internal teams and external partners to discuss project progress, resolve issues, and update stakeholders on BIM-related matters.
Qualifications:
A Graduate of BS Civil Engineering (preferably) or BS Architecture
Must be licensed
With at least 3 years of relevant experience
Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, including advanced modeling, family creation, and BIM coordination.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
Must understand that DEADLINE is DEADLINE.
