Our Client
Our client is an award-winning home builder located in Melbourne, Australia. Due to government grants provided as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic as well as the organic growth in the business, the company is geared toward scaling up in order to meet customer demand.
Responsibilities
In this role, no experience in family creation is required because the Revit drawing template and all families are already set up.
However, you are expected to be able to:
Create master drawings in Revit, from either brochure plans or working off older full working drawings, such as Redraw.
Draft internal elevations for new masters and retrofitting existing masters to include internal elevations
Have basic full working drawings for clients from a drafting brief or tender document, outlining basic changes required to the plans. This would not involve drawing a new master, as they would be using an existing master and adjusting to suit the requirements.
Qualifications
To qualify for this role, you must have:
At least 2 years of working in Revit
At least 2 years working in the residential building sector. Volume builder experience is preferred, but not essential.
Good home building and construction knowledge
Understanding of designs and reading plans
Strong attention to detail
The ability to work without any supervision
