Job Description This position will provide assurance and advisory support for major projects of the organization. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Projects Assurance through effective Risk Management Participates in the implementation of major new products, services and enabling systems. This is to help the Business ensure that: New product or service adequately serves its critical RA-related requirements and will work as intended; Revenue and customer experience risks, that may arise from the implementation of new product or service are proactively identified and effectively managed. RA controls are embedded during system and product development to enhance first line defense on potential risks. Second line RA controls are in place to ensure revenue protection is sustained post project implementation. Provides value adding risk assessment and effective work plans in order to manage identified revenue and customer experience risks. Identify key insights gathered during participation and report the same to superiors. Complete and efficient execution of work plans to address, immediately detect, resolve, and prevent identified risks. Liaise and coordinate with project team and sponsors to report identified risks and seek commitment for its resolution. Validates/tests transactions to ascertain: The integrity of reports used in recording revenue and decision making; Compliance with established policies and procedures meant to guard against revenue leakage, including supervisory and/or quality assurance procedures built into the processes; Critical RA processes are working effectively. Integrity of critical activities such as migration, user acceptance testing, and data cleansing. Reviews affected RA processes to identify opportunities for improving the operating effectiveness and efficiency of process and related controls. Collaborates with the operating units across the organization to provide management assurance that: Revenue assurance and related processes and controls are working as intended; Risks that threaten revenues and customer are identified and managed ; Revenues from new products, services and/or promotions are properly captured, billed and booked. Exhibits an understanding of the company's products, end-to-end processes and systems, network and information technology systems and tools that will deliver RA output. Provides relevant inputs to drive innovation, process improvements and enhancements. Assists the team in driving the implementation of RA-related action points/recommendations in order to help the Business address/manage revenue risks noted as a result of project/reviews Employee Management and Skill Development Tracks the progress of his own activities and effectiveness. Reviews and examines performance against all criteria, and thinks about areas for potential development. Provides positive and constructive feedback on peer performance. Inspires self to excel and accept responsibility and self-management. Actively participate in one-on-one discussions with IS about employee performance and work / personal issues that affect productivity and job satisfaction (if any) Proactively seeks and acquires leadership, business and technical know-how via on the job or formal training/seminar, inter-team collaboration, project participation, cross-posting etc. Make Your Passion Part of Your Profession.
