Nuix is experiencing phenomenal international growth with no sign of abating. As a result, we require an outstanding Revenue Accountant to join the Corporate Finance Team. This position will be home office based in Philippines.
Key Responsibilities
Manage revenue accounting and revenue recognition on a daily basis for Nuix globally.
Review contracts and ensure accounting is in compliance with Nuix's Revenue Recognition policy.
Managing integrity of the entire revenue cycle globally.
Assist with execution of project plan to implement new revenue standards.
Provide insightful analysis of recurring, upsell and new revenue streams to support management with decision making process.
Perform various monthly sales performance analysis and management reporting in a timely manner.
Identify & Implement continuous improvement initiatives related to revenue processes, including reporting, data gathering, value added analysis and enhancement of existing processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
Provide analysis of order and revenue streams to determine amount and impact of deferred revenue.
Manage month end Revenue close (GL reconciliations for revenue, deferred revenue, unbilled AR, backlog orders and revenue accrual).
Assisting with the annual statutory audit and tax compliance process, as required.
Participate in various team projects.
Ad-hoc duties, reports and support to the Corporate Finance team as reasonably required.
Key Requirements
Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
Minimum degree qualified with major in Accounting or Finance.
Previous experience with revenue processes
CPA/CA qualified preferred
Familiar with AASB and IFRS is a must
Ability to work with strict deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
Exposure to working with different accounting packages, preferably NetSuite.
Ability to work across multiple time-zones and interact with different levels of management and stakeholders.
Strong sense of ownership; full accountability for allocated responsibilities.
Ability to thrive independently or as part of a team.
Proficient in Excel and other MS office applications.
High level of drive, initiative, problem solving and analytical skills required.
Excellent interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.
