RETAIL ACQUISITION (RETAIL SALES)
Job Description:
Responsible for pitching and end-to-end brand acquisition for SBS, the company's warehousing and fulfillment services
Drive assortment in support of the development and growth of SBS
Make Shopee the destination of choice for customers by offering a wide variety of products, especially everyday essentials, on the platform
Identify and acquire alternative suppliers and/ or distributors of both existing and new brands to ensure the best selection of vendors along with optimal cost and service
Conceptualize, execute and track new initiatives to acquire new brands for SBS
Possess in-depth knowledge of vendors and how to negotiate, engage and solicit support
Liaise and cultivate relationships with key internal partners and with external stakeholders
Develop awareness of and insights from short- and long-term market trends and the competition, how they impact the business, and respond accordingly
Implement industry best practices
Requirements:
Possesses Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or any relevant study
Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in in end-to-end brand acquisition
E-commerce, FMCG and retail background is preferred
Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
Process-oriented and organized
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
Amenable to work in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig
Flexible to work long hours on occasion
