DESCRIPTION
Our client, a WELL KNOWN RESTAURANT IN A 5-STAR RESORT IN BORACAY/ MACTAN is currently looking for a well- experienced RESTAURANT MANAGERS to manage the overall operation of a LUXURY / HIGH END RESTAURANT IN BORACAY/MACTAN.
The restaurant manager is expected to manage the restaurant by following established objectives for the highest standards in professional management and administration as well as effective personnel development.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Deliver a high-quality menu and motivate staff to provide excellent customer service.
Maintaining the restaurant's revenue, profitability, and quality goals.
Ensure efficient restaurant operation, as well as maintain high production, productivity, product quality, and customer-service standards.
Oversee the dining room, check-in with customers and balance seating capacity.
Excellent back of the house management, as you'll hire Wait Staff, set work schedules, oversee food prep and make sure that food are prepared to the highest standards.
Able to lead by example and uplift staff during busy moments in fast-paced environment.
Ensure that the restaurant runs smoothly and customers have pleasant and award-winning dining experiences.
Manage daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operation.
Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction.
Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints and provide effective resolution.
Regularly review product quality and research new vendors.
Organize and supervise shifts.
Motivate, discipline, direct and supervise the work of all employees in the restaurant.
Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve performance.
Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils and cleaning products.
Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.
Manage restaurant's good image and suggest ways to improve it.
Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste.
Aid in all financial budgeting operations to maximize profitability.
Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly and annual revenues and expenses.
Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events and closely work with the marketing team to develop innovative programs and promotions that drive revenue through increased guest patronage.
Recommend ways to reach a broader audience (e.g. discounts and social media ads)
Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices and professionalism.
Implement policies and protocols that will maintain restaurants high standards.
Manages administrative duties for the staff.
REQUIREMENTS
Degree in Hotel Restaurant Management or equivalent.
Previous experience working at a stand-alone high-end/ LUXURY JAPANESE RESTAURANT OR ANY UPSCALE RESTAURANT. NO FASTFOOD RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE WILL BE CONSIDERED.
Excellent knowledge of Japanese cuisine.
At least 3+ years of experience in managing a full-service Japanese restaurant.
MUST be highly experienced in a luxury restaurant and able to maintain the highest standard of in all aspects of the restaurant.
Flexibility in working hours and a willingness to cover shifts as needed.
Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work.
Proficiency in English. And knowledge of Japanese or Spanish.
