ABOUT THE ROLE: RESORTS OPERATIONS MANAGER
A. Job Overview
Fully responsible for the operating success of the resort by efficiently and effectively overseeing the operations of the resort, including front office, F&B, and housekeeping.
B. General Role and Responsibilities
Report to the EVP/COO and prepare monthly status and accomplishment reports.
Ensure that high levels of customer satisfaction from property guests are achieved.
Ensure that relevant national and local regulations are satisfactorily met.
Ensure that the property is operated safely and securely according to safety standards.
C. Detailed Activities include but not limited to:
Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and service standards for all areas of service.
Train employees on customer service, operating procedures, service standards, safety and emergency procedures, etc.
Oversee daily operations including all areas of service such as restaurant, front office, F&B outlets, cleaning, and leisure activities.
Promote and implement a culture of excellent service and customer satisfaction among employees.
Direct the preventive maintenance program of the resort in all areas, ensuring that the inventories of both fixed and current assets are in order.
Conduct weekly inspections and ensure physical facilities are kept in optimal condition by implementing an effective preventive program.
Ensure emergency procedures are practised and enforced to provide for the security and safety of guests and employees.
Conduct performance appraisals of resort staff.
Behave with the highest ethical standards, respecting and treating others fairly, and inspiring trust among the resort owner, officers, employees, and guests.
