QUAULIFICATIONS
- a culinary school degree and some line cooking experience.
- Taking food science courses is also a plus.
- At least 2-4 years working experience in the same position or more than 4 years working experience in related field
- Devising concepts for new recipes
- Writing, following and testing recipes
- Have enough knowledge on methods to improve quality of foods such as flavor, color, texture, nutritional value, or physical, chemical, and microbiological composition of foods.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- creates new, and refines existing, products and technologies through a process of researching, designing, experimenting and testing.
- creating and developing new products to meet consumer needs.
- conducting research to identify new opportunities for innovation, as well as to understand the market, consumer needs, and industry trends.
- works closely with Food Technologist to develop new food products for the Central Kitchen.
- Creating the product prototype and refining the taste profile based on experimentation.
