2 RESEARCH DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANT (LAPULAPU-CEBU)
The RD Assistant is responsible for assisting the RD Supervisor in a variety of tasks which may include preparing resources, equipment, materials for the research, documenting results, and etc. in support of the research activities. Where research projects should ideally lead to a thesis or be directly related to the company's area of study.
Competency Requirements:
Preferred but not required, a Graduate of any Physical Sciences / Can be a Commerce or IT Graduate any 4 year course
With knowledge and experience in scientific research is an advantage
Has good research skills and statistical analysis skills
Excellent or above average in Microsoft office (excel, word, powerpoint) and documentation skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
With good working attitude, systematic, flexible, result oriented, keen to details and can work under pressure with less supervision.

Job Descriptions:
Research and collect data through complex techniques and procedures, library research, structured interviews or other project specific methodology, for process and product improvement
Perform tests on materials and samples as requested or assigned.
Interprets, synthesizes and analyzes data.
Schedules, organizes and reports on status of research activities.
Plans, executes and modifies research techniques, procedures, tests, or equipment.
Gather, analyze the data and report the findings to improve the decision-making process
Meets with the RD supervisor on a regular basis to maintain ongoing communication regarding the quality of the assistant's performance.
Perform 5s and help with the laboratory inventory.
Assists in writing official test reports to describe methods, findings for qualified new raw materials (i.e., new resin, paint, csa etc) and product tests.
Ensures the timely calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment
Maintain all related documents for R&D - formulations, Certificates of Analysis, Safety Data Sheet, Technical Data Sheet, Working instructions, Calibration Certificates etc.
Coordinate with third-party laboratories on the required analyses for finished products or new raw materials.
Maintain a complete and updated database for all product and material samples tested and evaluated in R&D.
Adhere to safety standards and protocols at all times in regards to safe handling of materials and wearing proper protective equipment.
Performs other related duties as required.
