As a Research Assistant, you will be part of the Quality Control team. The team provides work experience in the field of research, statistical analysis, and research administration. Research Assistants will assist the research team in all areas of Quality Control as well as additional responsibilities when needed.

Research Assistant
Work from Home
Two Possible Shifts:
Sunday to Thursday | 3 PM to 12 AM (Manila Time)
Tuesday to Saturday | 3 PM to 12 AM (Manila Time)
Training Schedule: About 1 week
Monday to Friday | 8 AM to 5 PM (Manila time)
*Please note the client will be sending a trainer from the US to facilitate the training. From their experience in person training with the Software is better than a virtual training. After the training is done, you can work from home full-time.
Responsibilities:
Data Quality Control - listening to audios, checking GPS to validate collected data
Using statistical software (SPSS) to create datasets and write field completion reports in Excel
Using Google Earth to check if selected locations have residential areas sufficient for fieldwork
Reviewing scripted surveys for coding errors, importing translations into Excel
Transcribing qualitative interviews, cleaning transcripts, coding qualitative data in Dedoose
Other relevant duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office software
Interest in global issues, especially the Middle East and Africa
Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
Good English Communication Skills
Foreign language fluency is a plus but not required. French, Arabic or any other major African language preferred
