Responsibilities
The position supports the commercial and business research function in the company. The candidate will be based in the Philippines.
Candidates should have the capabilities or interest in the following:
Gathering information and analysing data to support research objectives
Conduct telephone and face-to-face interviews with different levels of the organisation. Experience in this area would be given a priority.
Production of industry reports and conducting complex projects throughout the Asia Pacific region
Working closely with in-house senior researchers in the region on project delivery
Support business development activities
Requirements
An ideal candidate would possess the following experience and qualities:
Obtained a Bachelor's degree in any discipline;
Keen interest in research and/or business, financial and political news;
Good communication skills and ability to explain multi-faceted topics to senior management in writing as well as verbally;
Practical knowledge of economics/ statistical knowledge is an advantage;
Strong analytical skills, meticulous, self-motivated learner, enthusiastic, good-working attitude and works well with the team;
A team player, ability to work independently, with minimal supervision and within a team environment to meet deadlines;
Proficient in Microsoft Office;
Ability to multi-task on projects and work well under pressure;
Must have own broadband and computer to work from home.
