Job Purpose
Research and Development Engineer is responsible for the execution of the company's product development initiatives, implementation of the design, prototyping, commercialization and mass production, and coordination with the Product and Development Team.
Duties and Responsibilities
Conceptualization of Product Design
Research and Data Gathering of necessary Design Fundamentals
Prototyping and Performance Testing
Research and Data Gathering of necessary Electrical Standard Performance Testing procedures
Commercialization of Product Design
Research and Data Gathering of necessary Electrical Production and Fundamentals
Mass Production Planning and Development
Education
Bachelor's degree in Electronics Communication, Electrical Engineering or any equivalent
Experience
Must have experience on any of the following: electrical design, manufacturing/production, product development
Technical Competencies ("Know-how")
Experience on wind turbine blade operations and maintenance will be a plus
Experience on energy related products will be a plus
Experience on wind/airflow design related products will be a plus
Experience on aircraft wing maintenance will be a plus
Proficient in computer software programs such as, electrical and electronic design simulation, word processors, and spreadsheet programs
Lean Manufacturing Certificate is a plus
