I. JOB SUMMARY
Perform Physical and Chemical analysis of raw materials and stability samples with proper documentation of results.
II. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Perform Physical and Chemical analysis of raw materials of the new origin or new raw material based on set specifications appropriate to its application.
· Perform Physical and Chemical analysis of stability samples based on the established stability program.
·Initiate pull-out of stability samples from the required storage condition for analysis and submit samples to the micro section for micro testing.
· Perform daily verification, internal calibration, and system checks of laboratory equipment according to SOP.
· Perform monitoring on assigned equipment and report for any concerns and prepare a request for purchase needed.
· Prepare Laboratory solutions and perform standardization of volumetric solutions according to SOP.
· Report out of specification results to superior and make an appropriate investigation based on SOP.
· Maintain cleanliness of the area and safe working environment by appropriate waste segregation and proper handling of reagents and glassware.
· Receive samples from the product formulation section as raw material, trial batch, or stability samples for testing.
· Follow the lead of senior analysts on special instructions as advised by the supervisor.
III. QUALIFICATION
· BS Degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biology, or Chemical Engineering. ( Preferably with a license)
· Preferably with Experience in laboratory test analysis of at least two (2) years.
· Experience regarding analytical instrumentation (HPLC, UV-VIS, GC, etc.) and other simple equipment.
· With the initiative, very keen on details, a critical thinker, and pro-active.
