We are working with a well-established organisation based in Australia that is in the middle of a fast growth spurt. Since 2016, they have built a very strong reputation in the market but are looking to turbocharge their international growth in 2021!
About the Role
As a Reporting Analyst, you will be responsible for gathering, arranging, and analysing data using various procedures to deduce information that can be used to shape the trajectories of companies. The Reporting Analyst should obtain pertinent data from all relevant departments, compile and clean this information, and then proceed to analyse the data. You should also inform employees of additional information that may be of use to you, encouraging them to house such information in a secure folder.
To be a successful Reporting Analyst, you should be able to generate useful deductions from raw information. A top-notch Reporting Analyst will continually create and modify databases to meet the needs of our expanding company.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Build effective and efficient reporting solutions, primarily in Excel and Power BI, to fulfil business operational reporting requirements.
Design a dashboard and perform monthly reporting to monitor the KPI score and Quality score of each department in the organisation.
Analyse trends in key performance metrics, quality score, errors, and escalation.
Collaborate with Operational Intelligence or other departments to collect data and review current processes to propose efficiencies.
Develop and maintain data collection systems and other strategies that optimise efficiency and data quality.
Spearhead projects that will be assigned by the manager or team lead.
Perform ad hoc tasks if needed.
Position Requirements
Demonstrable experience as a Reporting Analyst.
Knowledge of suitable data analytic processes.
Proven experience creating data-driven knowledge that promotes profitability.
Ability to create, update, and share databases.
Strong troubleshooting and report writing abilities.
Analytical skills that allow for the development of data-driven reports.
Excellent critical thinking skills to help solve business problems and make decisions.
Tendency to pay close attention to small details that could impact results.
Demonstrated ability to manage time and prioritise projects to meet deadlines.
Ability to use PowerBI and Microsoft Excel to create pivot tables, graphs, and charts.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively relate data to coworkers.
