Reports Analyst with Power Bi - Night ShiftOrigo BPO

As a Report Analyst, you will operate with predominantly Microsoft software solutions on top of Office 365, SQL Azure and bespoke Azure cloud solutions, you will need to be a Microsoft BI Analyst with experience in tabular data models, DAX and Power BI reporting with a keen eye for visualisation to develop reports and dashboards and to become go-to SME for all things Power BI.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop Power BI data models as a core foundation of our reporting
• Translate business requirements into beautiful dashboards, reports and visuals
• Work closely with the development team and product owner in an agile manner, contributing to the entire product team's objective to deliver high quality software and reporting solutions to our clients
• Be an expert and mentor of 'all things Power BI' within the product team and wider business
• Continuously improve our use of Power BI, by keeping on top of updates and trends
Skills and Qualifications:
• Atleast 2 years of experience as a Power BI analyst with foundations in data mapping /analysis and data modelling
• Experience deconstructing and writing complex DAX measures, and performanceoptimization
• Exposure to SSAS Tabular data models; Experienced with SQL Server and T-SQL
• Exposure to client facing reporting and Power BI Embedded highly regarded
• Experience working with an agile development team (i.e. Scrum, Kanban, Lean) highly advantageous
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) including solid documentation skills and presentation skills
• Financial services industry experience highly advantageous
