We have a great opportunity for a<\/span><\/span><\/span>
Renewables Engineer <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong>
to join our Energy group and as part of a workshare team and will play an integral part in enabling system interconnections and transport of high-volume renewable energy between sources and loads.
In this role you will be collaborating closely with our Australian and Asia Pacific regions.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>
The following are key attributes of the role:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>
Prepare and coordinate the delivery of renewable energy study input data from subject matter experts e.g. wind, solar PV, energy storage <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
Liaise with suppliers and OEMs for equipment information, pricing and lead times <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
Undertake techno-economic modelling using renewable system design software i.e., HOMER<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
Undertake LCOE, LCOS and LCOH calculations <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
Prepare conceptual design and documentation including SLDs, layouts and material takeoffs, feasibility study and option assessment reports<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
Provide inputs to CAPEX and OPEX estimates <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
Prepare specifications, data sheets and scopes of work for tender packages <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
Review contractor and supplier tenders and provide recommendations <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
Technical review and comment on third party detailed renewables designs and related project deliverables <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul>
What you will bring to the team:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
At least 5 years related experience with renewable energy systems <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
Good collaboration and communications skills including being fluent in verbal and writtenenglish <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
Experience with international standards for wind, solar or battery energy storage technologies, resource monitoring programs and wind & solar data measurement and analysis <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
Competent knowledge of relevant standards, industry guidelines and current industry practices <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills and knowledge of statistical theories related to probabilities and data analysis <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
Relevant site experience is advantages <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul>
This job offer can be based either inMakati, Quezon Cityor in our office inCebu, depending on your home base \/ location.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>
