ConnectedWomen.AI is a social impact tech startup offering high-quality, cost-effective data labelling services to companies globally through the provision of data labelling jobs and training for women.
What you will be doing:
Be an integral part of a dynamic social impact IT start-up that is just starting to get traction. Play a key role in helping to grow the business as we seek to expand.
Manage online teams in the Philippines to provide timely delivery of annotated 3d and image data according to an evolving, and fast-paced, program schedule.
Manage and develop a comprehensive quality assurance program to ensure stellar data quality.
Maintain a strong technical understanding of the entirety of the annotation program across the lifecycle.
Own relationships with labelling clients, including defining commercial terms and running of regular business reviews and securing repeat business.
Be responsible for:
All contact with the client ensuring that they are a happy and satisfied client.
All technical progress managing all aspects of the project ensuring deliverables are on time and to the correct quality.
Ensuring compliance with every aspect of the project.
Financial performance of the project against budget, submitting invoices on time and following up on payment.
Attract, grow, and retain a diversity of talent in the Philippines, providing technical direction and career growth opportunities.
Inspire and motivate the team to work together as a cohesive and productive unit.
Requirements and Qualifications:
BA/BS degree in technical, or business discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years project/program management experience including experience in data labelling and people management.
Experience with client/vendor operations, preferably including outsourced operations.
Proven ability to develop and execute on technical and operational solutions to optimize complex workflows.
Proficiency in project management and execution in new, ambiguous, or time-constrained environments.
Proven ability to set budgets and deliver forecast profit levels.
Strong communication and presentation skills - can explain complicated topics and ideas in a clear and concise manner.
Advanced Google Docs/Sheets skills
Our Mission
We are improving employability for women by harnessing technology to upskill and prepare them for work, particularly from vulnerable, under-skilled and disadvantaged groups. We provide online data labelling training plus training for remote working, professional communication, and computer skills. Our training programs have been sponsored by UN Women, Sanofi, Smart, and Basilan LGU.
We aim to address the livelihood and poverty alleviation challenge by providing decently paid jobs for our trained women through B2B contracts with AI companies globally. We have closed initial contracts and are in final negotiations with a number of companies attracted by our talented cost-effective workforce.
We are supporting gender objectives enabling women to work flexibly from home reducing barriers such as household responsibilities, opportunity, and skills.
Type of work: Remote/Consultancy
Availability: 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 6:00pm (available for offline meetings when necessary)
Compensation: Negotiable depending on experience
