Key responsibilities
- The Medical technologist is primarily responsible in performing complex tests on blood and body fluids to determine cause of disease. He/She participates in all technical and administrative matters involving laboratory, performs laboratory works and ensures that the department is functioning based on existing standard operating procedures.
Qualifications
- Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology
- With PRC License
Competencies
- Well versed in using and maintaining medical technology tools such as chemistry analyzers, laboratory dilutors and photometers.
- Deep know-how of chemistry aimed at determining interactions and inter-dependencies.
-Competent at performing microbiological analyses to process patient's specimens and deriving accurate results.
-Functional ability to manage laboratory equipment calibration and performing clinical assays.
-Able to timely and accurately manage test results validity verification processes.
Experience
-1-2 years experience in a Laboratory of a Hospital
