REGISTERED MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIST
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
Registered Medical Technologist, Male or Female
Fresh Graduate are welcome to apply, with or without experience in water bacteriological tests
Preferably DOH proficient water bacteriology analyst
Hardworking and willing to work under pressure with less supervision
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyze water & wastewater samples for microbiological tests.
Ensure on time release of accurate laboratory reports
Maintain DENR & DOH Accreditation standards
Practice GLP (Good Laboratory Practice)
Maintain safe & pollution free environment that complies DENR standards
Reports accurate daily activities and accomplishments
A.  MICROBIOLOGIST
 
1. Responsible for microbiological analysis of potable water. Analysis includes E. Coli analysis, Fecal & Total Coliform analysis
2. Responsible for bacterial plate count analysis.
3. Monitors water quality (Standard Parameters and MICRO Analysis) of WS Plants, AQUAPURE, PWRI and Outside Clients.
4. Maintaining the necessary records of results and reports
5. Consolidates and graphs (trend charts) WS Plants water analysis results quarterly.
6. Update the micro procedures
 
B. QC ANALYST
 
1. Checks the raw materials against standard specification to ensure that only raw materials that are within the limits of the standard specification are used in the production of the products. (Procedures Manual OPR-051)
a. Reports to production foreman and operation manager for raw materials that failed inspection  (Procedures Manual OPR-056)
b. Records results of inspection in raw materials logbook
 
2. Checks the finished goods against standard parameters to ensure that only products that passed quality control are delivered to clients. (Procedures Manual  OPR- 051)
a. Reports to production foreman and operations manager for finish goods that failed inspection.
 
3. Facilitates EMB requirements:
a. Prepares and updates the following logbook
- Temperature monitoring for refrigerator
- MICRO raw data
- Temperature monitoring, total coliform, E. Coli Fecal Coliform Incubator 1 & 2.
- Temperature Monitoring for Oven
- Quality Control for Microbiological Analysis
- Bacterial Plate Count
- Sterilization Monitoring
- Disinfection Monitoring
 
4. Updates the following procedures:
a. Bacterial Plate Count
b. Total Coliform, E. Coli, Fecal Coliform
 
5. Prepares laboratory analysis reports and for signature.
6. Monitors laboratory supplies and consumables and make request for purchase when consumed.
7. Conducts inventory of reagents and apparatus every end of the month.
8. Prepares laboratory reagents.
9. Calibrates laboratory equipment/apparatus as per schedule. (|Procedure Manual OPR- 151)
10. Monitors condition of laboratory equipment and facilities. (Procedures Manual OPR-1)
11. Maintains all necessary records in accordance to the records retention schedule (Records Management Manual)
 
C. OTHERS
1. Performs other functions, which may be assigned by the immediate superior from time to time, any extra jobs commensurate to qualifications/training and/ seminars attended.
