The opportunity
This is an opportunity to lead the Talent Acquisition function for Mace in Asia Pacific, one of the most diverse, exciting and fast-growing regions of Mace.
The Regional Talent Acquisition Business Partner provides effective recruitment and resource management services to ensure key operational targets are delivered. Partnering with the Regional Senior Leadership Team to drive strategies that support the hiring of the best talent in the market to deliver on our promise to our clients.
Playing an active role in the head hunting and hiring of senior employees across the Asia Pacific enterprise, while directing the Talent Acquisition (TA) function that operate across all levels within the business.
Proactively supporting senior business leaders utilising comprehensive Asia Pacific market knowledge and talent acquisition expertise. Driving the hiring process to ensure Talent Acquisition takes a leading role in the Mace growth plans.
As a trusted advisor and business partner, driving the delivery of global best practice, through market relevant strategies, supporting the implementation of the EDI agenda and driving internal mobility across TA processes and practices across all levels.
Key internal stakeholders this role engages with will be the Regional Hub Leader, Senior Leadership Team / Country Leads, HR and TA leadership and other group and commercial services teams.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading a team of Talent Acquisition and Recruitment Managers supporting the Asia Pacific regions, which includes staff based in Philippines and India, predominantly recruiting for Vietnam, Hong Kong, Philippines, Japan, Singapore, Australia and India.
Head hunting and hiring local and expatriate, business critical project, programme and construction management candidates, cost consultancy or PMO candidates across the infrastructure and property markets.
Developing proactive talent pooling and recruitment strategies in line with the Asia Pacific growth plans, for new and existing sectors including infrastructure, transportation and property construction projects or programmes.
Developing the business partnering capabilities of the APAC TA function, through the development of key relationships with all senior stakeholders, contributing to the planning and advising on the growth agenda.
Partnering and aligning with senior HR and other enabling functions to ensure TA is driving group priorities forward in a cohesive way playing a key role with business improvement programmes that are driven by TA or wider enabling functions.
Leading Workforce Planning and Budget Planning with each Business in the Asia Pacific region and supporting any redeployment initiatives that may arise internally at Mace.
Representing TA on any technology enhancements across the business that impact TA, whether for the Asia Pacific region or contributing at a global level.
Taking a strategic and commercial approach to the utilisation and management of recruitment agencies where necessary to support specialist requirements or workload peaks.
About You
You have strong TA and recruitment experience in the Asia Pacific region, with established networks across the construction, property or engineering space.
You will be experienced in leading and managing a multicultural, multi-location talent acquisition team with the ability to inspire and motivate colleagues to grow and develop.
