Reporting to the Luzon System Operations Senior Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for the monitoring, gathering, analyzing and preparing the power system operations statistical and technical data of the Luzon grid in a timely, accurate, efficient and reliable manner.
Responsibility 1: MONITORING,VALIDATION AND REVIEW OF POWER SYSTEM OPERATIONAL DATA
Ensure the daily monitoring and gathering of transmission / sub-transmission line and equipment operational data emanating from other offices / entities, existing databases or other sources and it shall be effectively reviewed and validated to ensure the integrity and accuracy of data gathered * In-charge in the day-to-day monitoring of transmission / sub-transmission lines and equipment performance data using the System Performance Management Information System (SPMIS)
Evaluates and analyzes technical data from substations, transmission / sub-transmission lines and other related equipment, and prepares periodic performance reports
Gathers and validates SPMIS database records consistent with the provisions of NGCP Circular No. 2016 - 0003 the Implementing Rules and Regulations on the classifications of transmission and sub-transmission lines, substation and HVDC equipment outages.
Monitors and analyzes compliance to the Performance Standards for Transmission Lines as stipulated in Section 3 of the PGC.
Coordinates with the NOD, District, MTD's and various NGCP offices for the update and/or validation of substation and transmission / sub-transmission line technical data and transmission line/equipment performances.
Responsibility 2: ANALYSIS AND EVALUATION OF RELIABILITY INDICES(RI's), POWER QUALITY INDICES (PQI's) and PLANT PERFORMANCE
Ensure that periodic reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annually and annually) on Transmission / Sub-Transmission Lines and Equipment Performance, RI's, PQI's and Plant Performance were generated.
Analyzes and prepares periodic report regarding transmission / sub-transmission line and equipment reliability indicators (SAIDI, SAIFI, SISI, FOT/100 ckm & AOD) for the Annual Grid Operating Mode Analysis (AGOMA)
Monitors, updates and prepares reports on plant generating capacity in relation to the AGOMA.
Complies with the reportorial requirements of the AGOMA.
Analyzes and prepares reports on reliability indices, ALD / MLD, major equipment outages and consolidates the required reports for the PSWOH and prepare presentation materials for management reference.
Analyzes and prepares statistics on automatic load dropping, unserved energy and TLE interruption in the grid.
Responsibility 3: ERC/DOEAND OTHER AGENCIES REPORTORIAL REQUIREMENTS
Ensure compliance with the reportorial requirements of ERC under the Final Determination for the 4th Regulatory period, DOE and Other Agencies. * Analyzes and prepares reliability indices in compliance with the Final Determination for the 4th Regulatory Period.
Prepares the necessary report requirements for the Transmission / Sub-Transmission Line and Substation report as required by the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC)
Complies with the required report for DOE and other agencies
Responsibility 4:SPMIS RECORDS MAINTENANCE
Ensure that relevant information on grid operations was being updated regularly/periodically in the SPMIS * Monitors, validates and updates the interruption records in the SPMIS.
Validates and updates peak demand and energy sales record (per grid / region / district / customer) in the SPMIS.
Generates periodic reports using the SPMIS database programs as necessary.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
Registered Electrical Engineer
3 years related experience as EE
Able to write and communicate in English and Filipino
Knowledgeable in using Microsoft Office
Knowledgeable in Statistical Analysis
