As a Regional Cybersecurity Manager, you will collaborate closely with the Global InfoSec, Global IS, Technical Support Teams, Incident Response Teams and R&D Teams. With this responsibility, you are expected to be capable of communicating with different audiences, from complex technical discussions with R&D to non-technical engagements with our clients.
Understanding the public cloud security and risks in IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environments
Taking the lead in the configuration of Trend Micro's internal product implementations by ensuring full cross-technology integration and a best-practice Connected Threat Defence architecture.
Leading employee security education programs by suggesting content based on analysis of user behaviour and working with external content providers to formulate delivery media that is applicable and easy to understand for all employees.
Leading regional engagement with Trend Micro's R&D teams by providing constant operational feedback, offering suggestions on how our product offerings can be improved and leading the region's safe participation in dogfooding programs
Engaging with the Internal MDR\Incident Response Team, following through on their findings\recommendations, and reviewing mitigations; constantly provide feedback to help improve and refine the service.
Collaborating closely with the company's InfoSec department on all matters relating to Security Operations, representing them on a regional level and introducing new security policies and enforcing existing ones.
Liaising with the Regional Client Services team, providing consult and direction on both malware outbreak prevention and post-outbreak action on all security layers from endpoints and servers to the network perimeter.
Conducting audits and regular inspections of systems and network processes for security updates, safety measures, and strategies.
Investigating the latest cyberthreats and malware and helping ensure the region is well positioned and prepared for any attack.
Engaging regularly with professional services team members to share internal security architectures and ensure our implementations are aligned with best practice industry standards.
Representing the Philippines in external customer briefings by showcasing Trend Micro's use of their own products to defend against cyberattacks and demonstrating expertise in answering customer questions.
Desired Experience and Skills
A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any related field
Minimum of 2 years in a security-related role with minimum of 7 years in IT-related role
Excellent communication & collaboration skills and comfortable conversing with a wide array of audiences from InfoSec, R&D to internal IT and non-technical customers.
Strong knowledge on data security protection for cloud applications, such as DLP, encryption/tokenization, UEBA, CASB
Strong IT Infrastructure experience and knowledge on protecting that infrastructure across all levels
Experience working with frameworks such as COBiT, ISO 27001, ISO 27002, GDPR and OWASP are desirable
CISM \ CISSP \ Security+ or similar security certifications is an advantage
Skilled in threat hunting for active defence and co-ordination with relevant parties
Passionate about cybersecurity and protecting the company brand by striving to stay ahead of the latest malware and attacks
Confident with being the chief security advisor for the Philippines region
