REFRIGERATION AND AIR CONDITION TECHNICIAN (RAC)
Job Description and Responsibilities
Has experience in maintenance & installation of different types of air conditioning, split type, floor type, ceiling mounted, wall mounted, ceiling concealed, cassette type, ceiling suspended, air handling unit, PACU (precision conditioning unit), centralized, etc.
Installs, repairs, and designs residential, commercial, & industrial HVAC (heating ventilation, air-condition refrigeration) equipment
Reviews and analyzes work on job order, conducts testing and commissioning to ensure that equipment is performing based on the operation manual
Identifies solutions and suggests improved methods & techniques
Gives recommendations based on findings aligned with troubleshooting guides
Must be hardworking and willing to work overtime
Must possess at least a vocational course on the field
Must be amenable to other skilled jobs like carpentry, plumbing, paint job, or even lifting objects when there is no related task to do
Can read wiring schematic diagram
Lays out conduits (IMC, EMT, PVC) fittings
Familiar in functionality of an auxiliary system
Has the ability to use electrical tools, such as grinder, chipping hammer, drill chipping gun, heat gun, and drill machine
Result oriented, disciplined, responsible, and self-motivated
Can work well with minimal supervision
Can multi-task and perform the job
Has good communication and reading skill and is good in numbers
Job Requirements
Must be a graduate of at least a vocational course in Air Conditioning and Cooling Technician (NC1 or NC2)
Must have at least 1 year experience as a A/C Technician
