Description
The Recruitment Specialist for NA and AP responsibilities include connecting with potential candidates online and offline, screening applications and supporting hiring managers. Ultimately, this role will be responsible for hiring qualified people while maintaining a positive candidate experience.
This role will work closely with relevant stakeholders while contributing to the resourcing needs and long-term goals of HR NA and AP.
KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:
Recruitment tasks
Sourcing for candidates for a wide variety of positions, using Talemetry and other sourcing tools.
Reviewing resumes, conducting pre-screening questionnaires.
Assisting with dispositioning of unqualified candidates in PeopleSoft.
Maintain a database of potential candidates for future job openings.
Hire process administrative tasks
Audit
Uploading audit checklist
Prepare for hire
Submitting hire request form in Peoplesoft for Cebu to initiate hire in system
Sending hire notification email to HRBP
Sending hire notification email to PC Depot team
Background Checks
Daily review of background checks
Sending email requests for additional documentation (W-2, diplomas) to candidates when needed to verify employment or education
Email to notify recruiter that background check is complete
Recording background check complete in notes section of job req
Email notifying Cebu that background check complete/send new employee start date confirmation email
Onboarding administrative tasks
Run new hire query
Send new hire email to hiring managers & others in the business
Coordinating with Customer Engagement Center staff to reserve room in EBC for orientation & schedule Solutions Lab tour
Send meeting invitation to schedule IT Presentation (John Patton) for orientation
Schedule & conduct remote new employee onboarding with remote new hires and their manager
Applicant Referral Program
Using the new hire query list, check each candidate's application to determine if they listed an employee as their referral source
Maintain excel spreadsheet of all employees who are eligible to receive referral bonus
Send referral bonus approval/payment request email when it is time for bonus to be paid
Review & update Applicant Referral Program rules
Updating the HR documents in Sharepoint.
COMPETENCIES, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES:
Hands on experience with applicant tracking systems like Talemetry and HRIS like PeopleSoft.
Hands on experience with jobsites including but not limited to LinkedIn, Indeed, and Jobstreet.
Thorough understanding of the Fair Labor Standards Act and its equivalent to AP and other employment laws in NA and AP.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to conduct pre-screening questionnaires.
Strong attention to detail with an ability to manage competing priorities and maintain quality service delivery when working under pressure.
Respect for confidential information obtained internally and externally.
A collaborative approach to building professional relationships and working within a team to contribute to the team objectives.
Sense of urgency and ability to assess and meet priorities through good time management coupled with a high level of initiative and ability to work independently where required.
Tactful and discrete when dealing with internal and external stakeholders with the flexible ability to adapt to a changing environment while dealing with some ambiguity.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & CERTIFICATIONS BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
Graduate of any Behavioral Science courses or other relevant discipline.
At least 3-years of relevant work experience as Recruitment Specialist. Experience in managing recruitment for North America and Asia Pacific is highly preferred.
