Job Description
Climb on, over and around the mixer truck in order to perform pre/post trip vehicle inspections as well as to secure loads.
Climb up and down concrete mixer trucks using ladder, doing repetitive motion to inspect concrete mix consistencies and perform Quality Control checks
Lift truck hoods, product or equipment and tools necessary to perform inspection, repair, loading and unloading of trucks.
Wash trucks, clean truck cabs, climb up and down truck washing facilities
Operate the vehicle in a safe, lawful and courteous manner at all times
Keep vehicle, cab interior and exterior clean and mixer drums free from concrete buildup, stones, debris and loose objects
Read road signs and follow written or verbal directions
Current medical examination certificate and strong build
Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be at least a graduate of a four-year undergraduate course.
• A minimum of one (5) year experience in driving a commercial vehicle (Ready Mix Concrete Mixer Truck)
• Minimum of Class B commercial driver license required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous concrete-related experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and basic math skills required. Ability to read and interpret mixer truck gauges.
• Demonstrated ability to take guidance and direction from a supervisor.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of safety and road regulations
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
