Description
Creating aesthetically cohesive web pages or interfaces, and developing and maintaining complex front end software using React
Key Responsibilities
Interpreting graphic visual or interaction designs to highly responsive components/module using React concepts
Testing cross-browser, cross-platform, and/or cross-device compatibility for inconsistencies.
Testing for compliance to specified standards such as accessibility standards in the clients region or domain.
Reviewing designs for compliance with usability standards
Work with Development leads to design, develop and document new software features
Contribute to the design and development process
Produce high-level and detailed design documentation
Undertake technical research including evaluation of new software, tools, and techniques
Ensure compliance with coding standards and code design patterns
Ensure compliance with UI/UX design and style guidelines
Estimate development work effort
Hands-on application development
Does thorough unit and integration testing on all code developed
Perform regular code reviews to ensure the high quality of code delivered
Coordinate and help out Junior developers
Maintain existing system / technical documentation and create new content where applicable.
Maintain a working knowledge of web development tools and frameworks used
Qualifications
Ability to confidently work and communicate with American bosses.
Experience with web development languages of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
Up-to-date on cross-browser code compatibility
Background knowledge of API development is a plus
Must be willing to learn new technologies
At least 5 years experience developing web-based commercial web applications with strong frontend experience
At least 5 years experience designing architecture of commercial web-based products
Advance knowledge of HTML5, JavaScript, JSON, Typescript, CSS3, SCSS
Skills to diagnose performance issues and tuning in relation to pure JavaScript web applications
Strong knowledge on the following technologies:
Frontend technologies - HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript , Typescript, ReactJS
Development Tools - Eclipse/IntelliJ IDE/VS Code/Web Storm/Sublime
Git
Build Tools - NPM, Webpack
CI/CD
Ability to communicate and work closely with our Senior Software Developer, and Project Manager
Be a fast learner. monitor industry trends, technologies, and standards and be able to research, recommend, and apply new technologies
Practical experience working in an agile development environment
