Description
RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGIST STAFF
1. Reviews doctor's request for the examination
2. Identifies the patient to ensure that the person to undergo the procedure the right person indicated in the request.
3. Assesses the patient and explains the examination to be done.
4. Ensure patients schedule for examinations with preparation.
5. Performs routine radiographic examination using quality control techniques to assure quality of image and minimize the radiation dose absorbed by the patient.
6. Prepares the examination rooms and conduct routine maintenance, checking of the equipment.
7. Coordinate with the Chief Radiologic Technologist, other technologist and radiologist for the proper functioning of the unit.
Qualifications & Training Requirements
a. Graduate of 4 year course of BS Radiologic Technologist.
b. Licensed Radiologic Technologist.
c. At least 1 year related experience.
