Duties and Responsibilities
• Responsible for performing the required X-ray examination to patients and assist Radiologists in conducting an ultrasound.
• Prepares the digital radiographic image for reading and interpretation of Radiologists.
• Encodes the official results; also documents patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
• Maintains proper indexing and filing of all x-ray and ultrasound reports.
• Ensures operation of radiology equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
• Keeps and maintains quality records and references related to the job position.
• Submits Monthly Statistical Report to immediate Superior.
• Performs other related duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
• Must be a Registered Radiologic Technologist
• Knowledge in operating digital x-ray machine
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast paced working environment.
• Ability to work under pressure.
