Main Purpose of the Job
Sustainable packaging is the use of earth-friendly packaging materials that don't contribute to the further depletion of natural resources (e.g., rPET, recyclable materials such as monoPE, monoPP, polyolefin, etc.). ASA is alternate supplier assessment for existing materials either for contingency or resiliency
Project Objective
Under the direction of the Foods Proc & Pkg Manager, to finalize sourcing, development of packaging requirement.
Specifically, to carry out machinabiltiy tests/plant trials and other packaging-related tests on sustainable packaging materials.
To evaluate/assess alternate suppliers of critical materials for contingengy and resiliency.
KPIs of Project
Sustainable Sachet packaging - implement in 2021.
Ensure critical milestones are met for the Sustainable stand-up pouches and rigid packs.
Issue ASA report and R&D recommendations OTIF.
