The key responsibilities of DACA Engr are process optimization and characterization for mature/ released types and on new package/ new devices. It involves necessary adaptation of current tools and conceptualization of new tools to support such optimization or characterization.
Knowledge on basic Quality Tools are mandatory like RCA, DMAIC, FMEA and DOE. Knowledge in AutoCad and being a Green Belt are additional merits. Must be proficient in both written and verbal communications to defend and explain the results of his works and document these for process releases and future references.
The candidate will be working with Project Managers and Package Architects within Package R&D while at times may support local NPI and BG workgroups for DACA insights sharing.
The candidate must be an engineering graduate preferably in fields of Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics and Materials Engineering with at least 2 years experience in semiconductor manufacturing set up or 1 year complete immersion in DACA Process.
Working with Package R&D means exposure to development of befitting processes required for a new device or new package. It allows the candidate to think outside the box with complete freedom to innovate things. The job thus opens possibilities to interact with other R&D groups, suppliers and technical forums within and outside Nexperia.
