RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANT
Responsible to assist and facilitate in the product and process development. Make technical feasibility researches for process improvement in relation to product application. Contribute in planning launch activities to ensure a smooth knowledge transition from R&D to production through product and process specification.
· Assist and translate product development and experimentations with the management.
· Assist in documentation/revision of recipe formulations and work instructions based on developed/improved products.
· Evaluate alternative options / substitute materials for product development to optimize both cost and quality
· Facilitates new or alternative raw material evaluation
· Assist in product presentation of new/improved products as per need basis.
· Conduct food costing, shelf-life study and quality analysis of newly developed/improved products.
· Conducts performance and stability testing for finished products
· Finalizes product formulation or recipe and product packaging.
· Conduct continuous product quality and profitability improvement for all products.
· Assist in line trouble shooting, product and process review, as well as product evaluation as per need basis.
· Performs other R&D-related duties as required by R&D Manager.
· QA functions when needed
