Job Description
Responsible to operate a Quay Crane for safe discharging & loading of containers/ cargo with safe operating procedures, port benchmark performance standards & company targets.
Follow SOP's carefully in start up and shut down of crane.
Transfer containers as per sequenced Discharge/Load plan.
Take over the crane from previous operator after ground level checks, and report if found any abnormalities, in accordance with safe operating procedures.
Unload and load containers from Vessel to ITV and vice versa
Handover the RMQC to next shift operator
Ensure adherence to safety norms
Intervention & reporting of all Unsafe acts/ conditions/Near Misses
Qualifications:
A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
Male applicants are preferred for this role.
Motor Skills, previous experience in Container Terminal Operations preferred
