JOB DISCRIPTION
 
Vertical Construction (Building)
Interprets plans, drawings, shop drawings concerning measurements as to horizontal, vertical and distance, elevations, depressions, angled  lines and projections, curves and circular layout of a structure for construction.
Estimates Quantity of Materials (EOM) according to approved shop drawings and material specifications for Architectural, Structural, alarms Systems Plumbing, Mechanical, Electrical, Fire Protection and Security Fire Alarms Systems.
Estimates manpower, plant, tools and equipment usage required  for the work.
Estimates Quantity of Materials (EOM) form system  components, parts and accessories  needed to complete inst'n of the system on the designated  area. Able to generate shop drawing, cutting list of phenolic for formworks
Estimates Quantity of Materials (EOM) for reinforcing bars. generate cutting list of  rebars for commercial purchase and planned  usage.
Estimates Quantity of Materials (EOM) for RMC needed to complete  designated area for  concrete pouring. Segregates OSM cement in bags and batching to include costs of equipment for concrete placing. 
Generates Bill of Materials (BOM) of all estimated materials. Tabulates cost from different suppliers and evaluates best price.
Presents evaluated results to BAC for approval and encodes approved BOM to system (SAP).
Monitors deligently delivery and usage of materials at site. Checks quantities are within the BOM / BOQ. Audits site when needed.
Coordinates with the PM and PICs at site on change orders, variation orders and additional orders.
Generates justification to materials needed but not included in the original BOQ / BOM for approval to BAC prior to uploading to system (SAP).
Generates P & L on a regular basis to inform PMT / CMT and Owner.
Can well interpret Gantt Chart. Reports assessments and evaluation on a regular basis
Can well interpret Procurement schedules as to materials and equipment's. Reports assessments and evaluation on a regular basis.
QUALIFICATION:
5  years experience in a reputable Land and Building  Construction Company. Land Area is  1 to 4 . and vertical construction 4 to 5 storey high. Cad, Excel, Word literate
