QUANTITY SURVEYOR / ESTIMATOR
 
Job Description
Interprets plans/Shop drawings
Quantifying and costing Structural Works, Architectural Works, MEPF (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection) Works, Land Development Works, Road Construction Works
Generate detailed Estimates (Materials, Labor, Equipment, Tools), Construction Schedules, and other technical documents for in-house reference and formal quotation to clients (Government & Private)
Monitor, Document, and do due diligence for Change Orders, Variation Orders & Additional Works
Monitor and generate reports for Project Accomplishment, Site Inventories, Cashflow/Financials, and Profit-&-Loss on a regular basis for documentation/presentation with Management
Evaluate Progress Accomplishments from Sub-contractors & Progress Billings to Clients regularly
Provide technical assistance such as procurement schedules and project accomplishment schedules to Field Engineers
Job Qualification
A graduate of Bachelor's of Science in Civil Engineering
At least 2 years of work experience as a quantity surveyor/cost planner
Handled both Private and Government projects (e.g. in gov't: DPWH, LGU, DOH)
Multi-tasking and Time-oriented; Monitor several projects and generate/deliver several technical documents simultaneously and on time
Organized and keen attention to details
Strong problem solving analysis
Knowledgeable in field operations and procedures
Can produce basic to intermediate structural design and produce drawings/plans if necessary
