Job Description
Shall be responsible to set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment.
Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects using NDT methods of inspesction; To interpret and evaluate results with respect to applicable codes, standards and specifications.
Follow established techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherance to safety regulations.
Apply developed testing in accordance with aplicable specifications or standards and evaluate results.
Prepare report for test results; Perform specialized inspections.
Should exercise assigned responsibility for on the job training and guidance of trainees and NDT level I persionnel
Qualifications:
A minimum of 4 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Engineering(Industrial) or similar fields.
Male applicants are preferred for this role.
Must have -a valid NDT Level II Certification in UT as per SNT-TC-1A or equivalent
Active ASNT NDT Level II or III in UT with other methods such us RT, UT, VT, RT is a plus
