Job Description
As a Quality Manager you will manage the quality department of Kaertech group. You will be responsible for Quality System compliance with the standard, supplier Quality management, Quality system management, Quality assurance for Production and for engineering department (Hardware and Software) as well as responsible for product certification.
Duties and Responsibilities:

- All people in your team have a job description and commitments set on time. Kaertech value & priorities has been communicated and are understood. People issues are managed on a timely manner with support of HR if needed.
- S/He is responsibility to ensure the integrity of the Quality Management System (has unrestricted access to top management and the authority, seniority and resources necessary to carry out this). Examples:
o Ensure the Management System is established, implemented and maintained according to Kaertech standards;
o Monitoring company performance against the standards, identify and report upon system failures or improvement opportunities;
o Reporting to the management of the performance of the system for review and improvement;
o Communicating with external parties on matters relating to the system and our performance;
o Organize internal audit for the quality management system periodically;
o Convening management review meeting periodically to ensure the continual effectiveness of the quality management system;
o Promote the awareness of customer requirements in the company.
o Be the gate keeper for every project development delivery or stage sign off.
- S/He is responsible to maintain a list of suppliers that comply with Kaertech quality requirements. Such approved list of suppliers should be audited, controlled and maintained in the ERP system. Kaertech quality requirements should be defined and maintained. Proof of compliance should be available at any time.
- S/He is responsible for product certification and hardware Quality Assurance:
- Ensure products developed are compliant with applicable standards. Must provide input in early stage of product development process.
- Manage product certification with 3rd party laboratory and ensure delivery of certificates within schedule and budget.
- Ensure products under development (Engineering Department) integrates reliability and environmental requirements. Advise engineering on how these factors will impact their design. Manage reliability tests in-house or with 3rd party laboratories.
o Ensure full quality assurance regarding all hardware deliverables (Schematic, Layout, BOM, Test report...) generated by engineering department.
- S/He is responsible for software development Quality Assurance: Develop and Maintain a software development procedure and system that controls how codes are generated by the Engineering Department and monitor the quality of their development and tests (including Uni-test, functional Test and final codes).
- S/He is responsible for production Quality Assurance including but not limited to IQC (Incoming Quality Check), IPQC (In Process Quality Check), OQA (Outgoing Quality Assurance), monitoring and reporting of supplier performance.
Job Qualifications & Skills
- BS, BA as a minimum.
- With excellent leadership skills and has the ability delegate task
- Can work in a fast-paced environment
- Has at least 15 years of experience in a similar role, Quality Manager or Quality Director. Preferably in company in the same field as Kaertech.
- Excellent knowledge of quality standards: ISO9001, ISO13485.
- Fluent in English
- Has solid background with Electronics manufacturing.
- Can effectively and efficiently communicate from all kinds of levels.
- Ability to analyze and step back
- Writing, presentation and reporting Skills
- Computer savvy.
- Experience of Project Management Software such Microsoft Project or Wrike

- Very Organized and Rigorous, pays close attention to detail
- Hard working, responsible, proactive and autonomous
- Time Management and scheduling
- Capable of maintaining strict confidentially
Working Conditions
Manager are requested to work during regular working hours of the company but also required to be available by Email or phone on extended daily time (8AM to 10PM).
This is a position based in Philippines and requires frequent travels to Hong Kong.
Position request to work and deal with challenging customers.
