QUALITY MANAGER
POSITION OBJECTIVE
To support company Value Statement by providing leadership and direction to ensure continuous improvement in plant’s quality systems and achieve a high level of customer satisfaction.
POSITION KEY FUNCTIONS
Supports and participates Six Sigma initiatives.
Management of incoming inspection and interfacing with SQA group for resolutions of raw materials issues and concerns.
Ensures effective management of plant’s measuring and test equipment control program.
Analysis of plant wide product and process quality performance. Champions the plant’s quality meetings.
Responsible for establishing product and process standards and controls that complies with customer and company requirements and ensures that they are part in the plant’s quality system. Lead/coordinate Quality audits in the plant to ensure integrity and compliance.
Identifies internal critical and significant product and process characteristics and corresponding necessary controls. Lead the cross-functional team in the design and implementation of the quality control plan.
Preparation and management of quality assurance and inspection procedures
Appointed as Quality Management Representative (QMR) for QS 9000 or ISO/TS 16949
Ensures effective resolutions of quality concerns and issues.
Product and process deviations management.
Provide leadership and direction to ensure continuous improvement in plant quality systems and achieve a high level of customer satisfaction.
Participate, provide quality perspective, to PDLP/APQP activities in the plant.
Acts as Customer Representative that has the responsibility and authority to ensure that customer requirements are addressed. This includes selection of special characteristics, setting quality objectives and related training, corrective and preventive actions, product design and development.
Ensure compliance to PPAP requirements. Review and approve PSW documents.
Participate in design / process / launch reviews with ESA customer teams.
Provide leadership in the development and monitoring of effective quality measurables including customer ratings.
Coordinate the reporting of quality issues including potential and suspect quality issues to the appropriate groups.
EH & S Committee leader.
In all areas of responsibilities, the incumbent is responsible in assuring that appropriate safeguards are in place, which have direct impact on the Health and Safety of associates and the Environment.

EDUCATION
College graduate, preferably Engineering.
EXPERIENCE
Exposure to Manufacturing and or Quality management in Senior Supervisory or Manager position.
PERSONAL COMPETENCIES
Basic knowledge on Quality Tools, process improvement and its practical applications. Systems oriented.
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE
Hands-on implementation of Total Quality Management.
Must be adept in Manufacturing system improvement.
OTHER
Analytical and must have excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
