As a Quality Manager, you will be the contact point for all team members, so your communication skills should be excellent. You should also be able to act proactively to ensure smooth team operations and effective collaboration. Responsibilities
Build a Quality Control Team
• Oversees and manages the Quality Control team
• Recruits, selects, and on-boards Quality Control team leads members
• Ensures great new QC hire experience with a standard Onboarding program
• Provides governance in the training and development needs of new team members and ensuring training materials are available and up to date
• Ensures the implementation of regular coaching sessions with team members, recognizing strengths and develop action plans to address areas for improvement
• Partners with the recruitment team for continuous improvement of recruiting, hiring and on-boarding process.
• Identify and manage the headcount capacity of the team to ensure a well balanced QC operations.
Requirements
• Proven experience as a Quality Control Manager or similar
• Preferably with work experience in a startup environment
• Current knowledge of quality management system
• Familiarity with quality inspection tools and methodology
• Comfortable with leading and operating in ambiguous environments.
• Experience in project management and budgeting
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills; sharp business acumen
• Ability to build rapport with employees
