Delivered Raw Material:
Double check the delivery documents which include delivery receipt (DR) and corresponding purchase order no. (P.O).
Check the condition of stocks in the delivery truck and take sample of the raw materials.
Document findings in the Raw Material Quality Assessment Checklist. If nonconformity in the physical assessment is notice, report immediately to Quality Manager.
Analyze the moisture content of the raw materials using the Moisture Analyzer if it
passes specification. If moisture content is outside specification, notify Quality Manager prior rejection.
Issue disposition slip of the delivered materials whether "Accepted", "Rejected" or
"Conditionally Accepted" to Logistics in-charge.
Monitor proper identification of raw materials in the warehouse
Check the formula revision code to be used for production to ensure that current formula is being implemented.
Check the revision code of the basemix if it matches with the revision code of the product for production.
Check if there are materials available for remill.
Fill-up the "Request for Remilling Form" according to the approved Remill Guide and submit to control operator or production team leader.
Check production parameters such as mash particle size, pelleting parameters and crumble size to ensure that in-process material is within specs before it reach bagging bin.
For any deviation from specification, inform Operator, Production Team Leader or Production Supervisor.
Take sample of in-process materials and analyzed according to the sampling frequency guide.
Check quality of finished product during bagging. Only product that passed the set specification should be packed for commercial release.
Take sample of finished product for analysis and for retention according to the sampling frequency guide.
Check the packaging materials, i.e. bag and feed tag including the quality of the stitch.
Make sure that each pallet of finished product is properly identify.
Conduct physical assessment of finished product in the warehouse with age of 21 days and beyond.
Check the presence of weevils, molds and discoloration.
Record findings in the logbook.
Issue summary of findings and recommendation to Warehouse Controller.
Update QA reports on time.
Perform other task assigned by immediate superior.
At least 2 years experience on related field.
Willing to work on a warehouse/production setting.
Willing to accept areas of the assignment in Cagayan De Oro
Attentive to details.
Experience in feed mills production preferred, but not required.
Basic computer knowledge
Strong analytical and planning skills.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
A team player, can work under minimal supervision.
Strong sense of accountability, and initiative.
