Job Description
This position is responsible for checking all deliverables within the studio, aiming for right the first time, every time; Ensuring client's standards, protocols and requirements are met.
Responsibilities
Primary Tasks
Check digital file at the end of each stage during production following SGS procedures - ie. artwork, technical drawing, colour separation, etc.
Ensure brief mentioned in MySGS system or designated media(s) has been applied to the output correctly
Follow the client's and SGS processes strictly
Clarify with the corresponding client service representative when the instruction mentioned in the brief is not clear and concise
Log each checked job in the QC log sheet
Log each job in MySGS
Report to Senior Quality Control/ QC Lead when procedures are not being followed or when an abnormal situation arises, which cannot be resolved by his/her own self
Supporting Tasks
Be involved in quality investigations and support in corrective actions
Suggest/ implement process changes to reduce risk of problems re-occurring
Train/coach junior staff as needed
Complete any adhoc task assigned by Sr QC or QC Lead/Manager
Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Communication, Graphic, or Packaging Design (or related field)
At least 2 years experience in the graphic design / packaging/ printing or related industry
Proficient in Adobe software and Windows software
