Job Description:
We are seeking for self-motivated and detail-oriented QC Technician with at least 2-3 years of relevant working knowledge in Internal Quality Audit, food safety and quality management system in the Food and Beverage Industry. As a part of Philippines Quality team, the collaborative individual should demonstrate professionalism with a can-do attitude. He/she will perform product and/or raw material testing, releasing and standardized test procedures and methods.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, are essential along with exceptional organizational skills and strong interest in compliance and quality standard of the facility. You should bring along advance knowledge in microbiological analysis, environmental monitoring as well chemistry techniques and instrumentation skills. This exciting role is a five days work week, 8 hours a day.
What you will do:
You will be our go-to person for routine testing per QC methods and protocols, including designing, conducting and analyzing measurement systems analysis.
Being a great problem solver is one of your strengths: you will solve issues and analyze possible solutions using standard procedures, as well as participate in Formal Root Cause Analysis and implement corrective actions.
In this a team-oriented job, so you are able to use your strong communication skills verbally and in writing, to communicate internal lab data across the departments and for building relationships with your teammates.
Whenever a Quality Audit is scheduled, you will be part of our Food Safety team to ensure a positive outcome.
What are we looking for?
To be successful in this job, you ideally bring a bachelor's degree in related fields plus extensive quality control experience in a commercial or manufacturing environment.
This is a key team player role, and focusing on customers, quality, and safety, so we need you to be committed to driving results and collaborating well with your teammates.
Knowledgeable of process/ instrument and equipment validation; knowledge in spectrophotometer/ colorimeter and microbiological laboratory is a plus
Understands and can use basic statistical tools - Pareto Analysis, Control Charts, Correlation and Regression Analysis, etc.
Comprehensive understanding in implementing ISO 17025 and conducting basic physico-chemical testing.
Familiar with JDE IT or other ERP system will be an advantage.
