Facilitate investigation, root-cause analysis for Customer Complaints and ensure that Corrective Action Reports (CAR) are being submitted on time and implemented
Analyze production and quality control to detect and correct non-conformities
Set product Quality standards/Quality plan
Implement and enforce quality control and tracking programs to meet quality objectives
Ensure that all Quality procedures, systems and programs are being implemented and followed including HACCP, GMP, ISO, Calibration, Traceability, Quality Plan, Process Inspection, Product Inspection, SOPs, Pest Control Program
Assure the reliability and consistency of finished goods by ensuring that Quality plan, procedures and standards are being enforced
Make decisions about material, product & process deviations, incubation, Commercial Sterility test
Monitor and review the performance of staff and organize necessary interventions for improvement
Devise procedures and monitoring reports to inspect/report quality issues
Ensure correctness of all Quality inspection reports
Facilitate and or represent the Plant/Company in any Quality-related regulatory audit, inspections, permits & licensing
Responsible for the efficient Budget plan of his/her department and manage QC/QA expenses aligned to the set budget plan
Implement cost control programs
Manage all Department's activities within set KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
Ensure efficient collaboration and co-ordination between relevant departments including Production, Maintenance, Procurement, Supply Chain and management
Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry (licensed)
5 years QC/QA Supervisory experience in Manufacturing Industry, with at least 1 year QC/QA Managerial experience in Canning Industry
In depth knowledge/experience in the operation of Seamer & Retorts and their corresponding Quality inspection and analysis (including Tear-down & double seam examination, Processing schedule/Commercial Sterility)
Knowledge and experience in Physico-Chemical Analysis of water, Quality checking of raw materials, packaging materials and finished goods in canning industry
Excellent leadership and management skills
Knows the methods of Quality assessment of fish
Certification on Better Process Control School is definitely an advantage
Knowledge of quality systems and standards
Knowledge of health and safety standards and compliance
Knowledge of process improvement techniques
Knowledge of human resource principles and practices
Knowledge of laboratory equipment/apparatus
Knowledge on the practices and principles of Chemistry and its different branches
Proficient in Microsoft Office
