We are a seafood export manufacturing firm based in Mactan Economic Zone 1, Lapu-Lapu City,  Cebu, Philippines. We manufacture pasteurized canned crabmeat, frozen tuna, block frozen shrimps,  cooked sliced octopus, & other seafood products to US, Europe, and Asian markets.
 
We are in need of:
 
QUALITY CONTROL (QC) MANAGER (CANNERY)
 
Job Responsibilities
Managing and overseeing all quality control and assurance processes in canning operations.
Ensuring all products comply with food safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Supervising QC team in conducting inspections, testing, and documentation at all stages of production.
Monitoring critical control points such as cooking, can sealing, and sterilization.
Implementing and maintaining HACCP, GMP, and SSOP programs.
Conducting internal audits and preparing for external regulatory inspections.
Investigating quality issues and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
Coordinating with production and other departments to maintain product quality and consistency.
Qualifications:
Graduate of Food Technology, Fisheries, Biology, or any related course.
With at least 3-5 years of experience in quality control/assurance in food manufacturing, preferably in canning industry.
With at least 2-3 years of managerial experience.
Strong knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, GMP, SSOP).
Experience in handling audits and regulatory compliance.
Strong analytical and leadership skills.
