Job Summary: The Quality Control inspector shall be responsible for monitoring the quality of incoming and outgoing products or materials for a company. He/She will report directly to the Warehouse Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Perform regular quality assessments on all incoming materials from vendors and outgoing products for shipping.
2. Reject all products and materials that fail to meet quality expectations.
3. Read blueprints, plans, and specifications to understand the requirements of products and services.
4. Measure product dimensions, examine functionality and compare the final product to the specifications.
5. Recommend improvements to the production process to ensure quality control.
6. Document inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and performance records.
7. Teach the production team about quality control concerns to improve product excellence.
8. Resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner.
Job Specifications:
I. Education: Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Chemical), Chemistry, Food Technology/Nutrition/Dietetics or equivalent.
II. Experience: At least two years of experience as a Quality Assurance/ Check
III. Skills:
• General knowledge of supply chain, quality management, warehousing
• Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment. Must include Excel and demonstrated skills in database management, and record keeping.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Effective oral and written communication.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Shows effective teamwork skills
Job Requirements:
- able to work in Pasay City, no travel issue
- at least 2yrs experience in the related field is required
- From ISO Trading or Manufacturing company, who offers plastic products like PET bottles cosmetics or foods
- Can lead the production staff
- willing to work overtime
- uses QC tools
