QUALITY ASSURANCE
Job Responsibilities:
A. Quality Control/Audit
Conducts the following tasks:
Product sampling/testing to determine conformance to quality standards
In-process, production output
Recommends corrective actions to address findings of quality non-conformance based on the results of the product sampling quality audit and product testing.
Conducts water analysis for the plant cooling water.
Conducts water testing of water refilling station.
Visits branches within VisMIn to install quality systems that can improve customer satisfaction.
Authorizes the stop of production in cases where in product non-conformity is evident or is exhibited.
Recommends methods of disposal of non-conforming products.
B. Systems, Processes and Procedures
Conducts studies aimed at improving/enhancing systems, processes and procedures in plant, sales, marketing and other functions.
Evaluates feasibility of submitted project proposals.
Monitors implementation of approved project proposals.
Conducts technical research in determining other product applications.
C. Information/Communication and Monitoring
Conducts product orientation and product application to employees and customers.
Responds to customer queries and complaints on matters relating to product quality.
D. Executes Pollution control officer (PCO) functions that facilitates application and renewal of DENR-EMB 7 permits such as discharge permit including sewerage and permit to operate air pollution source and control installation (generator set)
E. Appointed as Safety Officer:
To meet company health and safety goals
Assesses risk and possible safety hazards of all aspects of operations
Presents safety principles to staff in meetings or lecture-type training sessions
Investigate causes of accidents & other unsafe condition on the job site
Creates safety plan that include suggested improvement to existing infrastructure & business processes
Liasing with law enforcement & other investigation who are present at the time of a serious accident
Participates in continuing education to update knowledge of health, safety protocols & technique.
Performs other related duties and responsibilities that maybe assigned from time to time by the Chief Operating Officer/COO.
Qualifications:
Male/ Female
Must be a licensed Chemical Engineer
Computer Literate
Excellent in communication and interpersonal skills
Resourceful, Energetic and Flexible
Preferably knows how to drive and must possesses a valid driver’s license
