Job Purpose:
The Quality Assurance Manager will develop and manage Quality Assurance programs and activities that will ensure compliance with company policies, food safety standards, government regulations, and industry best practices including GMP and HACCP. The QA Manager will integrate quality assurance and quality control into all functions and people.
Job Description:
- Ensure compliance with all quality programs including GMP and HACCP.
- Establish ISO 22000 & BRC certification.
- Evaluate and assist in developing processes, specifications and critical control points in manufacturing for ongoing quality assurance of all finished goods.
- Manage HACCP assessments and reassessments.
- Ensure that all new regulations are quickly and accurately implemented at all assigned facilities and suppliers
- Implement quality assurance programs that effectively monitor product manufacturing in a way that results in company compliance with regulatory SOP, GMP, and HACCP for third party audit and customer product requirements.
- Develop and execute training programs that support the Company's objectives with regard to quality and food safety.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Microbiology, Food Science, and Food process engineering or equivalent.
- With at least five (5) years QA/QC food processing experience.
- With detailed knowledge and track record of successful implementation of food manufacturing policies and procedures (GMP)
- Certification and training in Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP)
- Ability to lead the QC team and strong logical senses.
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects concurrently.
