Job Summary : To perform routine and non-routine evaluation of all liquid egg products to guarantee its quality and freshness at all times. To ensure familiarization with standard analytical and laboratory procedure and equipment usage. To ensure familiarization with standard analytical and laboratory procedure and equipment usage. Work closely with the Production/Engineering Team to maintain the standards set for GMP, Sanitation,Safety and apply the appropriate Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to all works being carried out inside the plant. Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Perform and/or supervise the performance of all necessary tests in the laboratory on samples submitted in accordance with the standard laboratory procedures 2. Report the test results and maintain quality/quantity standards by ensuring that all requirements were met 3. Assist in establishing quality standards, developing operations, quality, and troubleshooting procedures 4. Supervise the cleaning by following the 5s and maintenance procedures of all laboratory equipment 5. Accomplish, conduct and supervise all necessary checklist that must be done on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis to ensure food safety and safe working environment inside the plant at all times 6. Supervise the timely calibration and repairs on laboratory equipment as needed 7. Prepare and submit to the Plant Manager a summary of weekly, monthly and annual accomplishment reports. Represent the department and present Weekly Progress Report when needed 8. Monitor attendance records, give feedback and coach all subordinates. 9. Perform related duties as assigned. KEY QUALIFICATIONS: Education : Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Professional license (Passed Board/Professional License Exam), Biology, Biochemistry, Food Technology, Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering graduate or equivalent.Experience : Must have at least 1 year of relevant experience. Special Skills :. Be able to lead a team . With good communication skills, both written and oral. . With good knowledge in GMP, HACCP and FSSC.
