Description
General Purpose: Responsible for ensuring a product or service meets the established standards of quality including reliability, usability and performance required for distribution and the market.
Main Job Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities
1. Interpret and implement quality assurance standards and procedures
2. Evaluate adequacy of quality assurance standards.
3. Devise sampling procedures and directions for recording and reporting quality data.
4. Review the implementation and efficiency of quality and inspection systems.
5. Plan, conduct and monitor testing and inspection of materials and products to ensure finished product quality.
Education and Experience
* Bachelors degree preferred Food Technology, Chemical Engineering or any food- related courses.
* Preferably with at least 2 years of supervisory experience in quality control / assurance and food manufacturing operation.
* Knowledge of Food Safety, HACCP Principles and implementation and HALAL Certification.
* Quality inspection, auditing and testing experience
* Product or industry - specific experience in seafood processing

Minimum education level: Bachelor ́s Degree
Years of experience: 2
Knowledge: Decision making, Team management, Initiative, Reports
Availability for travel: Yes
Availability for change of residence: Yes
