QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of 2-year course or College level
Preferably with experience in raw materials and/or finished goods inspection in a manufacturing firm
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conducts sampling and evaluates raw materials, work in-process and finished goods according to the standard procedures and based on company's specifications
Visually inspects raw materials, work in-process and finished goods to ensure conformance to standards
Takes samples of raw materials, work in-process and finished goods following established sampling plans and instructions.
Prepares meat materials, work in-process and finished goods for sensory evaluation.
Conducts visual inspection on control samples and reports to QA Specialist any non-conformance observed for proper disposition
Assists the QA Specialist in the conduct of physical, sensory and line tests raw materials, work in-process and finished goods
Records pertinent data on samples and result of evaluation in a logbook or verification form.
Prepares tags for any affected raw materials, work in-process and finished goods.
Encodes data on result of verification and finished product weight.
Files records, updates retention samples and tracking
Ensures compliance of assigned area and storages to established quality management programs
