Duties and Responsibilities:
Evaluates the quality of all incoming live broilers, fresh dressed for cutting and or further processing, packaging materials during the production process.
Detects and identifies quality problems and non-conformance to standards.
Recommends the corresponding corrective action to solve the non-conformance issues.
Ensures regular quality audit in the clean and dirty areas, further processing processes and systems.
Monitor the compliance with GMP, HACCP and SSOP standards.
Coordinates concerted meetings, demonstration and consultations with manufacturing heads and processing crews.
Monitors compliance with BFAD requirements such as health cards for Food Handlers and other requirement and elevates non-conformance to the concerned department head or supervisor.
Submits regular daily inspection checklist to supervisor for collation and analysis.
Utilizes pre-approved inspection processes, procedure, test and measuring equipment during quality inspection.
Maintains an orderly filing system of all pertinent documents of the department for easy retrieval when needed.
Keep abreast of the department's objectives & directions.
Check randomly rejects and deviant products and provide analysis through statistical process control charts.
Participates in company-initiated programs, seminars and trainings.
Performs other related duties as may be assigned by superior from time to time.
Qualifications
Graduate of BS Chem, Chemical Engineering or Food Technology.
Requires at least 5 years of experience in related work.
Must be good in oral and written communications and basic supervision.
Must be familiar with inspection processes, test and measuring equipment.
Proficient in operating a computer and other office equipment.
